Decent program, been using this one since v3.0. I sometimes prefer EAC+Lame: displays a DOS window that shows how the (VBR) encoding is being distributed over the various bitrates.

If you're not interested in that kind of information, LameXP works perfectly fine: with individual progress bars.

K-Lite Codec Pack 7.5.0 Full, Standard and Basic

This 7.5.0 version says that it works with Windows 2000 but when I came to install it on my Windows 2000 PC it popped up a message saying that I have to have XP SP2. Why SP2? I think they need to update.

Last version which will install on Windows 2000 is 7.1.0.

The encoders were removed, last version to have them seems to be around rev. 3670. Reasons were outdated, buggy and inferior encoders; you should use standalone encoders (x264vfw or x264 for h264 encodings, standalone XviD for xvids..).

ZVR Converter 1.0

Just downloaded and made use of the ZVR Converter.
"Worked fine" Fantastic!!

Just remember to Run the Converter from within its folder, copying it to Desktop will not work since you require the .dll file.
