To help us investigate and fix this, could you tell us which operating system you are using ( Windows 10, 11, or an older version)?

On Android, Kodi has far the best foreign language subtitle support. Vlc and MX had issues displaying the correct fonts with accents. Also MX Player does not support eac3 audio and 10-bit video encoded videos but is far more lightweight

It is excellent! What a putrid Microsoft! Windows11 is not good as Windows7.

VLC media player should be removed from the suggested list of alternate software. When downmixing to stereo, it drops the LFE channel instead of incoporating it into the downmix. This should be an instant dealbreaker for anyone who actually enjoys movies.
