These codecs suck. I installed all of them, and still got errors when playing back AVI files in Windows Media Player. I downloaded FFDShow 1280 and installed with all the codecs, no errors at all. Plus, the files were much more responsive. FFDShow's all you need to play audio and video. Forget all the other sluggish and buggy codecs.
This is still in early development but I now use MPC renderer instead of madVR for watching HDR.
