as good as the codec might be, audio is just a 30 day evaluation, so you won't be able to hear any of your files after a while... beware!

Good, but I had to uninstall and go back to Old Version 1.35(what I upgraded from), hoping to get the right click feature back. No Dice.

Went and uninstalled that again, and did a complete uninstall again of QT, and after rebooting reinstalled old version 1.35 and guess what? NO right click. I searched registry and couldnt find anything pertaining to this and even the full uninstall of "Everything" on QT left some folders so I think I will delete those and and 1.35 and try again.

BTW I dont think its the Media Player as I had that before.

......I just tried that and reinstalled 1.35 and NO right click. I am thinking the recent version of Real Alternative Might be the culprit stopping this right click function. Dont know what else it could be. Searched all options. Anyone?

Media Player Classic has been flawless but I didn't read enough good about Real Alternative 1.29 so I saved it for later. I just had a system crash and installing Real Alternative 1.29 is one reason I can be happy. Media Player Classic survived the crash and I got rid of that stupid crashing Real Player for good. I write HTML for fun and my browser plays embedded media and connects to my favorite radio station on web pages I authored. It's great, that is all.

This codepack works perfectly on my Win 2000.

Seems to be the only quicktime player I can install without an internet connection.

Installed it and couldnt get it to decode MSMPEG42 so I uninstalled it, while uninstalling it put a file called WININIT.INI in the Windows folder that Spybot says is a piece of Malware called Freshbind. Maybe it was a false alarm but I wont install it again.

In the end of the installation "Windows File System Protection" pops up a message box saying that a file has been overwritten by an unknown version. I am using Windows XP SP2.
No audio anymore not in media player or other, error on directsound.
Anyone Knows how to fix this?
