@MPCuser

Are you sure you picked the 8/07 beta, NOT the 9/09 official? You must pick the beta.

This is actually CCCP 2009 build. Unfortunately it doesn't work with windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit at all.

On the official site they haven't even released the 2010 build yet.

There is no new version of QuickTime, so there is nothing to update.

well, i've installed v6.20
i realized something different about this version installer
it has no option to generate thumbnail preview for real video format (rmvb and rm). I think there's no problem with that since i dont use thumbnail preview too often since it may be lead to explorer crash but when I opened a real video format, my mpc and wmp cant open this file. They said i don't have any codec to play this format

this version can't play real video (rm or rmvb) anymore, how disappointing....

Koepi's XviD Codec 1.2.2

Disregard comment#9, and total b*llnuts!
This is one fantastic piece of software, and good e.g. in movie archiving: DivX -certified players play movies encoded with XviD, you can put as many as six on a single DVD without any noticeable quality loss.
Of course, x264/h264 is more modern; more efficient in compression with better picture quality, but not as well supported by players as DivX/XviD. And DivX is commercial, which means you should pay for something you get for free anyway, and don't even have to break any laws ;)
So download this one, support open source software (or good sw at least) and start encoding!

I have used this (and MPC) for years now. It is simply the best program out there. If you install this, FfdShow and CoreAvc, then you pretty much have everything you need to play any video.

HIGHLY recommended!
