You're right, Microsoft Photos is pretty basic. If you're looking for something a bit more flexible, you might want to try ImageGlass:

To set a slideshow timer, just go to: Settings > Image > Slideshow.

You're right, going from one lossy format to another isn’t ideal. It shrinks the file size, but it also hurts the audio quality.

Et d'un seul coup, pour un petit codex (AC3) il faudrait que je passe le restant de ma vie pour convertir et remanier tout cela.

Mes photos en N/B récupérées des siècles passés auront été d'une plus grande pérénnité.

Prior to updating the download problem present in 1.1.6.13 that had been outstanding for several months was partially fix (needed several download attempts to be successful), now we are presented with the same download failure.

Изтеглих,инсталирах софтуера.Работи.Но намирам големи трудности с работата му.Не говоря и не чета английски език.Съобщенията които изкачат са на английски и ме объркват.

Трябва да ги снимам и през гугъл фото да си ги превеждам.Та нямаше да е лошо ако имаше поне руски език?На версия 1.2 имаше руски,български.Но не работеха при мен?Няма да мога да използвам пълноценно софтуера,поради езикови проблеми.
