MSU Screen Capture Lossless Codec provides lossless compression of videos captured from your computer’s screen.
In the future it will become a part of MSU Lossless Video Codec.
This codec is useful for anyone working with presentations, tutorials, video lessons and videos from games.
This codec’s main advantages are its good compression ratio and speed compared to other lossless video codecs, being able to compress videos from old games and offering support for RGB24 colorspace.
In order to use this codec in CamStudio, the monitor must be set to 24 or 32 bits per pixel and video image needs to be even.
MSU Screen Capture Lossless Codec has not been developed anymore since 2007. It is free for non-commercial use and in order to use it in commercial projects you need to buy a license.
