Pinnacle DV25 Codec 1.5.0.9
Pinnacle DV25 Codec is a VfW (Video for Windows) tool which allows you to work with the DV container.
This format includes both raw video and audio data. Pinnacle DV25 uses the standard “dvsd” FOURCC.
This codec has not been updated anymore since 2005 and it uses Pentium/SSE instructions.
Some users suggest that with this codec colors are not extremely vivid and the “haze of fog” effect is noticeable, while others consider that there are not too many artifacts on videos when using Pinnacle DV25 Codec.
By installing this codec to your computer, you will be able to play DV data stored in other containers, too, such as AVI or QuickTime.
