FlyOobe leverages a feature of the Windows 11 setup process that uses the Windows Server variant of the installation. This variant, unlike the regular Windows 11 setup, skips most hardware compatibility checks, allowing it to run on unsupported systems.
FlyOobe is essentially Flyby11 version 4.0. The core upgrade tool is still there helping you move to Windows 11.
FlyOobe automates the download and mounting of the ISO, so you don’t need to manually tweak anything. You can get the ISO from official sources.
What's New in FlyOobe (Flyby11) 0.21.5:
Flyby11 was never just a one-time upgrade tool, it was a mission: to bring Windows 11 to unsupported PCs. But what happens after the upgrade? Flyby11 deserved to evolve, and now it has. Over the past few days, Ive been working on a smarter post-upgrade experience, building my own OOBE platform and integrating Flyby11 into it.
The result? Something like Frankenstein’s monster (but way more helpful): FlyOobe.
FlyOobe doesn’t just help you upgrade to Windows 11 (even on unsupported hardware). It also supports everything after the upgrade, the things Windows usually hides or rushes you through.
It walks you through a more complete and customizable Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE).
What does OOBE mean?:
OOBE stands for “Out-Of-Box Experience” basically what you see when you first start Windows.
This isn’t a huge revolution, just a natural evolution so the app can keep up with all the new features and continue helping you upgrade and set up Windows 11 better than ever.
