Updated: 30 Jul 2017

x264VfW - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec is an improved version of x264 VfW (Video for Windows) which has been added an integrated VfW decoder.
It allows you to render and edit VfW AVC files without needing additional software.

This program is described by the project team as a VfW (Version for Windows) of the famous x264 encoder and ffh264 decoder.

Before downloading x264VfW - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec, you need to know what its main features are.

It has a “Create stats file” option in singles pass modes, an added GPLc2 license in installer, and a VAQmod patch replaced by AutoVAQ patch.

Additionally, the x264 core is updated to revision 1145 (git-d2e1e1c) and the ffh264 core is updated to revision 18747.

At a minuscule size of 2.1 MB, this GUI is definitely worth installing on your computer if you work with the H.264 format.
