I am finding for best of the codec for wmp10. While searching I found this site. I will be back after downloading and finding performance of these codecs.

Fabulous product! I would love to see a better installer for this, however... Inno Setup files / batch files aren't as robust as MSIs. If there was an MSI installer for this, it would be easier to deploy in large environments. (hint, hint. ;)

hmmm...I have XP and WMP 10 and just installed Real Alternative I played a RMVB file and I get a green screen...I wonder what's up...sometimes if I'm lucky I see 10s of it before it turns green :P Any hints on what's possibly going on?

This alternative has meesed up my whole media player..now it doesnt even play the .asf .asx files...before installing this alternative I was having fun listening the music but now I cant..Please find me some alernative...It crashes my Windows Media Player when I try to play the .asf & .asx files...

I am getting the same problem as it will not stream and says need codec it worked perfectly unitl it entered the 1.40 stages. FIX this please you louts!

Still won't stream RAM files. I always get a message saying:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

I downloaded Real Alternative 1.41 and the file after name after download is 65. But it is a non executable file - what do I do? I had downloaded it to play .rmvb files.

Avg antivirus has found a trojan horse IRC/backdoor.SdBot.Cs in the media player classic executable installed by this package...

With my Windows 98 machine, this works great for me. No problems streaming either with this version, no freezing, I'm absolutely happy.
