Realtime AI Image Viewer (RAIV) is a Windows image viewer that automatically displays images processed with Real-CUGAN, Real-ESRGAN, or a separately installed copy of Topaz Gigapixel AI.
Open an image and RAIV can show the processed result, compare before/after images, browse pages, zoom, pan, and navigate with thumbnails. RAIV focuses on fast page navigation and prefetching so large image folders can be browsed comfortably.
What's New:
- Added NovelAI tag suggestions to Prompt, Undesired Content, and prompt-decomposition editors. Japanese input shows Japanese suggestions with their mapped English tags and inserts the English tag; other input uses English suggestions. Suggestions support mouse selection and Up/Down, Enter, Tab, and Esc keyboard controls.
- Updated novelai-sdk to 0.14.0.
- Added SDR-compatible AVIF viewing through Pillow, including transparency. Animated AVIF playback is not supported; the first frame is displayed as a still image.
- AVIF files are passed directly to the selected upscaling engine and their processed results are always saved as PNG using names such as image.avif.png. Direct AVIF input has been verified with the bundled Real-CUGAN and Real-ESRGAN executables.
- Added support for passing an image file as the first command-line argument to open it at startup. This works with RAIV.exe, run_raiv.pyw, run_raiv.bat, and raiv.py.
