GPL MPEG-1/2 DirectShow Decoder Filter is a DirectShow decoder for VCDs and MPEG1 and MPEG2 files. Use any media player based on DirectShow and this piece of software and play your media contents error-free.
Apart from playing MPEG1 and MPEG2 streams, you can use this application as a DVD decoder for unencrypted discs.

This lightweight decoder needs to be installed a bit differently compared to similar applications.

Open the MpegDecoder012.msi file in order to run setup.

It really works for me,but not working for divx player..but using VLC Media Player and windows media player ...
