About the Fake Hacker Terminal

This is a free, browser-based hacker typer prank tool that simulates the experience of a movie hacker furiously typing into a terminal. Pick a visual theme, choose a hack scenario (network penetration, password cracking, memory dumps, crypto mining, or database queries), then mash any keys to stream realistic-looking hacker code into one or up to four terminal windows simultaneously.

Nothing is actually hacked, scanned, or transmitted. The output is pre-written text revealed character-by-character as you press keys. Press Esc at any time to exit. The tool runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS, iPhone, iPad, and Android - any device with a modern web browser.

Advanced features include auto mode (no keyboard required, types itself), multi-window cinematic layout, an optional Matrix rain background effect, random ACCESS GRANTED / SYSTEM BREACHED alerts, synthesized keyboard sound effects, customizable target IP and hacker handle, a scheduled-start countdown, a "Just Kidding" reveal for safe ending, and a shareable URL that preserves all your settings.

How to Use This Prank

1. Pick a theme - Matrix Green is the default and most recognizable, Cyber Red is more aggressive, Neon Pink fits a cyberpunk vibe, Classic Amber gives an old-school CRT terminal look.

2. Pick a hack scenario - Network Penetration (nmap-style port scanning and exploit), Password Cracking (hashcat bruteforce), Memory Dump (hex output and kernel addresses), Crypto Mining (mining pool stats and blocks found), Database Query (SQL queries and table scans), or Mix All for a random rotation.

3. Choose mode and layout - Manual mode requires keyboard mashing for the classic geektyper effect. Auto mode types automatically, perfect for video pranks. Pick 1 to 4 simultaneous terminal windows for the cinematic look.

4. Customize details (optional) - Add a custom target IP and your hacker handle to appear in the terminals. Leave blank to use realistic random defaults.

5. Toggle prank options - Enable sound effects, random ACCESS alerts, the Matrix rain effect, the "Just Kidding" reveal, and the hold-ESC-to-exit safety.

6. Schedule the start delay - Set 10-30 seconds so you can step away before the prank kicks in.

7. Go fullscreen and start - Click Enter Fullscreen, then Start Hacking. In manual mode, mash any keys. Press Esc when the joke is over.
