i used window vista and can't run the program.. what should i do? i've already double click in the icon but no respond.. maybe it need restart??

I want to reinstall the file stormupd.dll , it was missed after an antivirus scanning. Please tell me how can i do this?

BEWARE stormupd.dll contains as trojan, AVG picked this up and moved it to the vault. Codec seems to work without this so left it installed.

Although this is a great codec pack and includes just about everything you need to play any file, it appears to contain a trojan. Kaspersky detected this trojan and neutralized the threat. I can recommed scanning it with anti-virus before installing this pack.

no language pack? its chinese wth

i need to see and enjoy movies pic taken from my self so i am very thankful to all for this

I really like this software.
I am not able to play certain WMV files like WMV 3,4 etc. It shows blank screen with audio.
Am I missing anything?

Good codec pack i am using it for sometime combined with "quick time alternative+real alternative" makes a super combo a light and least bugged i say

A correction to my past review.... I meant WMP version 11.XX NOT media player 7 XX

THis is the BEST around and the most under-rated. There is no Virus on this!!! I have scaned it with ZA anti virus and Kasp. I do not know why so many people use the xp codec pack--this is MUCH MUCH better. IF you want to just use windows media player 7 XX This is what you want.....

It was a false positive. The Chinese version of the pack contains adware toolbar and exe while the English doesnt it. That is Why KAS detected it as trojan.

The new version of Storm Codec no longer has any adware.
