I have DVD43 4.4.0.0, it does a beautiful job, except, I'm coming across more and more movies that 4.4.0.0 will not copy. Does anyone know how to get in touch with the programmer? Is a newer version coming out soon?

Also a lot of times if you are having trouble with your blank discs dont pitch them. When i first started backing up movie collection. which i do so my original copy stays in good shape (scratchless) and my kids can do whatever to the back up ones without pissing me off. lol
Anyway I had gotten 200 from online and was so pissed when they did not work, kept getting an error saying disc not in drive. Thankfully Ii never pitched them. I just recently went and got a new computer and gave my old one to the kids. Just cause I was curious I put those discs in that I bought three years ago and WOW, they work. So now I got 200 discs to use that I thought would never work,
So it may just be your reader on your burner that dont like a particular blank disc. Save the disc for when you get a new burner, or go and get a new one right away.

I was using an older version a few years ago and it worked well for long time. then I did start getting messages some kind of errors, been so long i dont really remember what they actually said. Usually the only times I had problems was when it got to the stage where I would have to put a blank disc in. Then after a year or so my red face icon would not go away. later my computer crashed and had to Fdisc it, was pissed, however it crashing had nothing to do with dvd43, at least not to my knowledge. I have tried many programs to run with it, but for me the best combo is dvd shrink, nero, and dvd43 (any version)

I have as far as I know the latest version now and still use it with dvd shrink and nero.

I posted earlier that i was getting a strange noise and my red face would not go away. Disregard my concern, my son realized that the disc had a tiny incomplete crack.

All in all I love the program. even if sometime rare times I dont get one of my movies backup.

I have 1 click dvd copy pro and are using xp professional ed. I had dvd 3.7 was working well and than received update message from my copy pro that i was using outdated dvd 43 program. I went to dvd 43 webpage and downloaded new dvd 43.1 I also found that my dvd-r blanks were failing. I only use dvd+r rw and have had great success. I have burned disney, sony and almost all others. My sugesstion is to keep your burner program and dvd43 updated.

I have used this program for a few years with intervideo dvd copy express. it works good, but i have run into a few movies that it will not work with. if the movie in your dvd drive shows the drive letter way off to the right of the title, it will not be recognized in the drive and will not work. the following movies will not copy for example.

THE GREAT RAID (D:)
UNITED 93 (D:)

does anyone know a way around this??????

Hope this helps, With dvd43,3.9.0 it`s very tempermental, and conflicts with other program`s, I have both dvd43,3.9.0 and Region+cssfree and have found they conflict each other at times,so i use one or the other or both,No movie is fool proof, I`ve waisted alot of disc`s to get to this knowledge,i use sony dvd-r, or memorex dvd-r,because we don`t have a big selection here,I use one click dvd copy,If i have trouble i switch to nero7ultra,I`m having good luck with this method, 9 out of 10 work,So far i`ve found it`s just conflict`s between program`s,, I`m useing windows xp-home,with 1024mb ram, Hope this help`s, it did me, Keep going it`s worth it,, Special thank`s to program designer`s.

mornin,I've had great luck with this program for about a year now.I use dvd+r and never had a problem,if there was the manufactuer's disc was bad. I tried TDK dvd+r no good(used 80 out of 100 discs).
I stick with verbatim(use 98 out of 100)every now and then, usally all 100 work out.so tell them to use DVD+R only.I have other input to help with if you want to pick at this,oh..I use 1clickDVD and stick with it. did try slysoft product trial period, and IT DID NOT PERFORM AT ALL.the new Sony products do not work with DVD43,is there a newer version that will take care of this problem? thanks
