Maintained alternatives that may do the same job:

The tools and features contained by this application have not been released in other official packs, but most users will find them very helpful.

If you download Winamp Essentials Pack 5.7 beta 4 to your computer, you need to have Winamp version 5.6 or above in order to enjoy the capabilities of this plugin.

This collection of tools contains the Ogg Vorbis Encoder, the Apple Lossless (alac) Decoder, WavPack Decoder, Waveform Wrapper and Lite-n Winamp Preferences.

Other additional features are time restore, autoplay, ML Enqueue and play, a skin manager, an album art viewer, the playlist undo option, the Unicode Taskbar Fixer and the Find File On Disk option.

The aim of this plugin is to update and enhance Winamp by adding new features to it, so it was constantly improved until 2013.

The last release, Winamp Essentials Pack 5.7 beta 4, featured an update of the [gen_classicart] Album Art plugin to v0.93, and the minimal required Winamp version was increased to 5.7.0.3437.

Also, an error message on Winamp close was fixed. All the plugins and components in the pack have a file description and version info properties, the application offers support to handle SHOUTcast 2 in-stream artwork from compatible SHOUTcast 2 DNAS and the developers have also added support to query the file directly for rating information if no rating from library.

One of the best collections of plugins, Winamp Essentials Pack adds many new features to Winamp while being compact and easy to install at the same time.

This tool is strongly recommended for those who want to get the best out of their music and enrich Winamp with new features.

4/5Good
This pack has a very good collection of plugins for Winamp and adds new features in Winamp too. However, it can be made better by adding more new plugins for Winamp, while keeping the installer size less than a megabyte.

Good luck, keep up the good work!
