Heres my problem. It works fine and all, but will only display subtitles in Finnish for some reason. It's Finnish or nothing. I re-downloaded it, but still only Finnish. Any ideas?

Works perfect on Vista Media Player 11, but it doesn't have the setting like 2.23. Where are they?

Elena, the embedded subtitle is probably on the video itself; Nothing can be done about it in this case (this has nothing to do with VobSub)...

This is a very good program. But I have a problem.
I can see two sets of the same subtitles on my video (using Media player classic and WMP 11). The one is embeded in the player and the other one is from the vobsub. When I click on Hide Subtitles from the green arrow I can see only the one set of subtitles. But I have a problem when the subs r not in english e.g. greek. The embeded subs doesn't show greek just different symboles, the second set show correct greek.
Can anyone help me? I would like to see the external set of subs only.

Hi there,

I thought the problem which most of you guys had was my problem as well. (The black screen)

My problem is kinda different and i blame DirectVobSub as well.

My problem :

When i'm making some footage with windows moviemaker everything is going smooth. Untill :

Untill i put a jpg or avi/wmv etc in it, and i want to put an overlaytitle on it (for example the credits) my screen just get stuck.

The reason i blame DirectVobSub is that the program seems to multiply it self like 10 times :/

I get sometimes 5 or 8 or sometimes even 10 green arrows in the system tray.

Anybody experienced this before, or better, got a solution for it?

Thx in forward,
Greetz Dave

Thanx Spyro, the tip was really helpful...
Now I have another problem...
The srt coming up as unreadable letters, this does not happen with sub though. So, is there any way I can convert srt to sub?

Thanx in advance!

Seems like it doesn't work in the Mac OSX. Can you recommend any similar subtitle utility for the Macintosh?

Thanks,

Monk
