This needs to be updated to the most recent Quicktime base components. The most current is now 7.7.4.

Works with short .MOV animation clips in H.264 and Sorensen codecs, and MPEG-4. I'm using Firefox 3.0.1 and QTLite 2.7.0 . Sometimes you'll need to go full-screen <F11> to see the play buttons at the bottom of the player.

Haven't tried it on clips longer than a few seconds yet.

Much shorter download and installation than the 57 Mb QT 7.5.5 whopper from Apple.
