MX Player Custom Codec 1.87.0 r4 seems to address problems found in MX Player versions: 1.87.x, 1.88.x, 1.89 and x1.90.x. Download it and let us know if you still encounter issues.

Every upgrade in mx player app breaks the codec that had been working fine. VLC never has this problem.

Update version required of 1.87.0 bcz many of videos EAC3 audio is not supporting.

It looks like the codec 1.87 is no longer working. Mx player keeps saying that codec is not working and standard codec is selected.
