The Tsunami Codec & Filter Pack was designed to help you play the most common multimedia formats and handle video file information.

Officially discontinued since 2004, this codec pack was a compact collection of essential tools for the average multimedia user.

Some of the options that the Tsunami Codec & Filter Pack provides are viewing codecs which have been used to create a video file, managing codecs and repairing damaged AVI files.

Tsunami Codec & Filter Pack features components such as ffdshow, VobSub, DirectVobSub, DivX AntiFreeze and the Codec Sniper Tool, which allows you to remove codec tools you don’t need anymore.

Unfortunately, the Tsunami Codec & Filter Pack cannot help you work with the latest multimedia formats, and it is not the best solution if you need up-to-date encoding tools.

The development of Tsunami Codec & Filter Pack was officially discontinued.

I got the same issue as 4Tran, Windows File Protection warning during install. Very worrying, if I had been pre-warned then ok, but seems a bit trojany?

d**n this thing works! it fixed my movies from those nasty green frames. However, the things i'm not sure is if it was supposed to replace some of my WINDOWS files. Thanks.

Why do we have to f@#k about with different codecs and players this is holding progress back! Let's have something that works and leave it alone!
