AC3fix is no longer updated by its developer - the last version here is from 2004. It may still run, but it gets no fixes for newer Windows versions or formats.

AC3fix is portable, which means it doesn’t require installation.
Store it wherever you prefer in your computer or on a portable device and just run the executable when necessary. The Windows registry won’t be modified at all.
This application has a simple interface, and users can import files using a browser.
It removes bad frames and saves the processed file in the same file format. AC3fix tries to maintain the same file size by repeating the last correct frame.
This lightweight and accessible tool can be used by anyone with basic computer skills and it needs little resources and time to fix your AC3 files bad frames.
Changes to AC3fix 0.3 - command line tool:
- Renamed project to AC3fix. Near-complete rewrite. Now not just skips frames, but tries to keep the file length as equal as possible to the input file by repeating frames.
- AC3fix GUI 1.0.2:
- Improved performance - no longer waits for ac3fix.exe to finish, control returns to app immediately (using ShellExecute)
