This is a free, browser-based retro flip clock with realistic mechanical card animation. Each digit lives on a card that physically flips down when the time changes - exactly like the famous flip clocks of the 1970s and 1980s, recreated using pure CSS 3D transforms.

It runs three modes in one tool: a regular clock with timezone support so you can use it as a desktop world clock, a countdown timer for cooking, workouts, exams, presentations, or pomodoro sessions, and a stopwatch with millisecond precision. All three share the same beautiful flip animation.

Six built-in themes cover every aesthetic - classic black, light, vintage sepia, glowing neon, warm wood, and airport split-flap board. If you want something custom, the color pickers let you set your own card background, card text, and stage background colors.

1. Pick a mode - Clock for showing the time, Countdown for a timer, Stopwatch for measuring elapsed time.

2. Configure (clock mode) - Choose 12-hour or 24-hour format, pick a timezone (or leave on Local), toggle seconds and date display.

3. Pick a theme - Tap any of the six theme cards to instantly change the look. Use the custom color pickers to fine-tune.

4. Click Fullscreen - Enters a clock-only mode where the flip cards scale up to fill your screen. Press Esc or Space to exit.

5. Share your setup - The Share Link button copies a URL with all your settings encoded - send it to a friend or bookmark it.

A flip clock is a digital clock that displays the time on cards which physically flip down when each digit changes - mimicking the look and feel of mechanical flip clocks popular from the 1960s through the 1990s. This online version uses CSS animation to recreate that exact effect in your web browser.

Click the 12h/24h toggle in the settings panel. The clock updates immediately and remembers your choice via the share URL. AM/PM indicator appears automatically when 12-hour mode is active.

Yes. Switch to Countdown mode in the panel, enter your target time (hours, minutes, seconds), then press Start. The flip cards will count down to zero with a gentle alert when it reaches 0:00:00.

Yes. Switch to Stopwatch mode for millisecond-precision timing. Start, pause, resume and reset controls are available, and the flip animation runs at the seconds boundary just like the clock.

Yes. Click the Fullscreen button (or press F11) to enter fullscreen mode. The flip cards scale up to fill the viewport - perfect as a digital screensaver, livestream overlay or always-on desktop clock.

The clock uses a CSS 3D transform that rotates the top half of each card 180 degrees on its X axis - exactly how a real mechanical flip clock works. The lower half reveals the new digit underneath as the upper card swings down.
