OTT Navigator is a free IPTV player for Android that turns an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login into a full television interface, with a program guide, favorites and catch-up, and it is one of the few players in this category that works properly on a phone as well as on a TV.
OTT Navigator turns a playlist from your IPTV provider into a proper television interface: a program guide, channel numbers, categories, favorites and a layout you drive with a remote.
It is built by SIA Scillarium Studio and runs on Android 6.0 or newer, which covers Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV sticks, generic Android boxes, phones and tablets.
Version 1.7.4.1 is the current documented release, published in January 2026.
What OTT Navigator Actually Does
IPTV simply means live television delivered over the internet instead of through an antenna, a satellite dish or a cable box. Your provider hands you a playlist, and a player like this one turns that raw list into something you can actually watch.
OTT Navigator reads the playlist, pulls in the program guide, and lays the result out as channels with numbers, categories, a now-and-next strip and a search box that covers everything at once.
Where it earns its reputation is customization. Almost every part of the interface can be rearranged, from the channel list layout to the colors, so the app can be made to look like the TV guide you grew up with or stripped back to a bare grid.
It Brings No Channels of Its Own
The app ships with exactly zero television channels, and that is deliberate: it is a player, and you supply the content.
It accepts three kinds of source. A plain M3U playlist link, an Xtream Codes login (a server address plus a username and password), or Stalker portal credentials, which is a format some providers and set-top boxes use instead.

Free vs Premium: Where the Line Sits
OTT Navigator is free to install and use as a player, with Premium sold as an optional unlock rather than a trial that runs out on you.
Premium is priced two ways: as a subscription billed monthly, quarterly or yearly, or as a single lifetime payment. A standard purchase covers up to five devices, which matters if you have a stick in the living room and another in the bedroom.
How you pay depends on where the app came from. Store builds handle it as a normal in-app purchase; sideloaded builds use the separate OttNav Companion app to manage the license and keep it tied to your account.
Check the app, not a review
Feature lists on third-party sites go stale within a release or two. The Premium screen inside the app is the only list that matches the build you are actually running, so open it and read it before you pay for anything.
About Those "Premium Unlocked" APKs
Search for this app and you will hit a wall of results promising a modded APK with Premium already unlocked.
Those files are repackaged copies of the real app, resigned with someone else's key. That breaks the update path, and it leaves you with no way to tell what else was changed in the package before it was uploaded.

Getting a Playlist In
Adding a source takes about a minute, and the app does the rest on its own.
- Open OTT Navigator and choose to add a new playlist or provider.
- Pick M3U playlist if you have a link, or Xtream Codes if your provider gave you a server address, username and password.
- Paste the details, give the source a name you will recognize, and save.
- Let it load the channels and guide data, then drag the channels you actually watch into favorites.

Building your own list is a reasonable alternative to paying anyone. Browse and export public channels by country and category with the IPTV Channel Finder, then assemble or edit the file by hand in the M3U Playlist Builder.
Before it ever reaches your TV, run the finished file through the M3U Checker to strip out the dead streams, and use the M3U Finder if you need to search a large playlist for specific channels.
Testing a single channel is quicker in a browser than on a remote: paste the URL into the Web Player and see whether it plays at all.

OTT Navigator vs TiviMate
TiviMate is the other name that comes up constantly, and the two apps overlap heavily.
The practical difference is reach. TiviMate is built for the big screen and fights you on a phone, while OTT Navigator has proper phone and tablet layouts alongside its TV interface, so one app covers the whole house.
The second difference is temperament. TiviMate is deliberately minimal and quick to set up; OTT Navigator hands you far more to configure, which is a gift if you enjoy that and a chore if you do not.

Installing It on a Stick or Box
On devices with a working app store the install is ordinary, and the app updates itself from then on.
On a Fire TV Stick or a generic Android box you sideload instead: allow installs from unknown sources for your file manager or downloader app, transfer the APK across, and open it. The download is around 20MB, so it fits even on a stick that is close to full.
Who Should Look Elsewhere
OTT Navigator is Android only. There is no Windows, Mac, iOS or smart-TV build, and running it through an emulator is a workaround rather than a solution.
On a Windows PC, Kodi handles IPTV through its Simple Client add-on inside a full media center, and ProgDVB is a dedicated TV application with recording built in.
For casual playback on a phone, VLC for Android opens M3U playlists and network streams without any setup, and MX Player does the same.
Pair MX Player with the MX Player Custom Codec if your streams carry AC3 or EAC3 audio, which is the usual cause of a channel that plays with no sound.
