XA Filter 0.61

Updated: 28 May 2005

The XA Filter, as its name suggests, too, is a tool for decoding PS audio or XA which was multiplexed into WAV and AVI files. XA is the audio file extension used in PlayStation and PSone.
There was just one single public release of the XA Filter, 0.61, launched in 2005.

In order to install the XA Filter, you need to decompress the files from the xafilter061.zip archive and run the reg.bat batch file.

Uninstalling is also extremely easy: run the unreg.bat batch file.

This extremely lightweight tool will automatically handle XA found in the well-known WAV and AVI media files.
