DXVA Checker 4.6

DXVA Checker will show you a list of all the DirectShow and Media Foundation codecs on your computer and display for each item various information such as file name, merit, company and attribute.
Codecs displayed in the list can be registered, reregistered, or unregistered.

By using DXVA Checker you will easily view detailed information about your computer’s GPU without affecting its performance or slowing it down.

The most important pieces of information that you’ll find with DXVA Checker’s help are:

- usage condition in other applications by trace log, supported mode and usage condition in DirectShow/Media Foundation Decoder, and Decoder Device and Processor Device that can be used with GPU.

Furthermore, you can set change in some DirectShow/Media Foundation decoders and confirm effects by changing Video Processor and Decoder/Processor Device during video playback.

DXVA Checker runs on all Windows systems from XP to 10 and it requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Runtime x86 (32bit/64bit Windows) and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Runtime x64 (64bit Windows). You will also need Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 unless you have Windows 7 or later installed to your computer.

The installation process of DXVA Checker is simple and straightforward, and its interface won’t disappoint you either – the application contains just a few tabs providing access to all its options. No Help file is offered, but on the other hand DXVA Checker is so simple to use that you don’t need instructions.

Besides displaying information about decoder and processor devices, DXVA Checker also shows trace logs. You can choose the events you want to follow within the tracing process and start, pause and refresh it by just clicking on a button.

Free and lightweight, DXVA Checker is a .NET-based application that will provide you with access to GPU information in no time.
