ADX Decoder Directshow Filter is needed in order to decode ADX streams found in WAV and AVI files.
ADX is a lossy compression format used mostly in video games.

Its lopping function is extremely useful in background music and it can also be used for voice recordings.

Novice users will probably encounter difficulties with the installation of ADX Decoder Directshow Filter, but things are not as complicated as they seem: you need to decompress the "adxdec061.zip" file and run the batch file named "reg.bat".

In case you want to uninstall the application, just run the “unreg.bat” file.
