Nokia Suite 3.8.54

1.5 from 2 Reviews

Nokia Suite, also known as Nokia Ovi Suite, allows you to transfer multimedia files from your phone to your computer and the other way around and to get the latest phone software.

This application has a very elegant and sleek design, which should please most users; the interface is intuitive and easy to use, but on the other hand, the fancy graphical user interface needs a little bit more system resources than most similar applications.

Nokia Suite may look very nice, but at the same time it is a very powerful tool which allows you to perform various tasks, such as synchronizing and backing up information, organizing contacts, copying file to and from your phone, managing text messages, managing photos and creating albums, getting new maps for your phone, sharing online, downloading and installing new software and connecting your computer to the web.

You can send and receive messages while the phone is connected to the computer.

One of the best things about this application is synchronizing music, photos and contacts the same way that iTunes does with Apple devices.

One more thing you need to know is that Nokia Suite is compatible with non-Lumia phones, for instance the Asha phones. If you have an older phone, you need to use Nokia PC Suite.
Nokia Suite is worth giving it a try if you own a compatible Nokia phone and you want to get the most out of your multimedia contents.

By using this application you can easily connect your phone to the computer and transfer data from one device to another. Besides transfers, you can enjoy other advantages, too, such as synchronization, data backup and installing apps to your mobile phone.

Another problem arises when using other codecs like ffdshow. Nokia Suite installs its own (*very* bad) codes.

You can get rid of them using this little batch (BAT. Note that it has to be run with administrator privileges.

on 02 September 2011
Tried on several occasions to download latest nokia ovi suite. No problem the installing side of ovi. Once installed ovi in my computer a problem arises, namely after using ovi and shut down computer whether at the end of the day is not important. When i boot up my computer for use my screen resolution on intel (r)graphics changes from 32 bit to 8 bit.

It is easy to get back from 8 bit to 32 bit but every time i boot up the same thing happens. So in order to avoid this i cannot run Nokia Ovi Suite with windows 7 in my computer all be with it That I have a reasonable Notebook namely Toshiba A665 4GB Ram, 1GB Graphics 500GB HDD. Any ideas anyone.

Once i uninstall ovi everything is back as it was prior to ovi installation.....
