Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.9034 Non-WHQL

Build 32.0.101.9034 is Intel's newest driver for Arc graphics cards and Core Ultra processors, and its main job is getting two new games running properly from day one.

It is a Non-WHQL release, so if you would rather have the tested-and-certified option, 32.0.101.8991 WHQL sits right below it in the download list.

The short version: take 9034 if you are about to play one of the new games, and stay on WHQL if the machine is a work laptop that just needs to behave.

What Is New in 32.0.101.9034

This is a game-readiness release - the kind Intel ships so a big new title works well on Intel graphics the day it launches. Intel calls it Game On support.

• Game On support for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve on Arc B-Series, Arc A-Series and Core Ultra graphics.
• Game On support for Gears of War: E-Day on the same hardware.
• A new Intel Arc RGB Controller for the Arc A770 Limited Edition card, so you can set its lighting on Windows 10 and 11.

Intel lists no separate bug fixes for this build. If you are jumping from an older driver, the shader-compilation and DirectX 12 crash fixes that arrived in 32.0.101.9030 normally come along too, because newer Intel drivers carry the work of the ones before them.

Known Issues Worth Reading Before You Install

Intel is upfront about what still breaks, and one item touches a headline game of this very release. Gears of War: E-Day runs slower than it should on Arc A-Series cards and on Core Ultra Series 1 and Series 2 processors.

Arc B-Series owners are not on that list. The other open issues are narrower:

• Arc A-Series and B-Series: Arena Breakout Infinite can crash in DirectX 12 - on B-Series cards it happens with Terrain Surface Subdivision turned on.
• Core Ultra Series 3: Mafia: The Old Country can crash in DirectX 12.
• Core Ultra Series 2: EA Sports FC 27 can crash.
• Core Ultra Series 1: NBA 2K26 can crash the first time you launch it.

Intel also lists crashes in PugetBench benchmark runs for Lightroom Classic and DaVinci Resolve Studio on several chips. If you edit photos or video for a living, that is a good reason to pick WHQL instead.

Non-WHQL or WHQL - Which One Do You Want?

WHQL means Microsoft has run the driver through its own certification lab. Non-WHQL means Intel shipped it without waiting for that stamp, usually to get game support out in time.

Neither one is unsafe. Both come from Intel, both are signed, and both install the same way - Non-WHQL builds simply land first, while WHQL builds land later with more testing behind them.

Pick 32.0.101.9034 Non-WHQL if you are playing one of the two new games or chasing a fresh fix. Pick 32.0.101.8991 WHQL if you would rather not gamble on a brand-new build.

Which Intel Graphics Do You Have?

This driver covers Intel Arc B-Series and A-Series cards, Arc Pro workstation cards, and Core Ultra processors with built-in Arc graphics - Series 1, 2 and 3 all count. Older Iris Xe and UHD Graphics chips sit on a separate Intel driver branch, so the newest number here is not automatically the right one for an older laptop.

To check what is inside your machine, open Device Manager and expand Display adapters, or run GPU-Z, which reads the chip directly and shows the driver version currently loaded. CPU-Z does the same job for the processor.

The download list also keeps 32.0.101.8425 / 32.0.101.8362 WHQL as an older certified pairing, and 31.0.101.5978 for Intel Arc Pro workstation graphics.

System Requirements

• Windows 10 version 22H2 or Windows 11, 64-bit only. There is no 32-bit build of this driver.
• Intel Arc A-Series, B-Series or Arc Pro graphics, or a Core Ultra processor with built-in Arc graphics.
• A few gigabytes of free disk space, because the installer unpacks itself before it runs.
• An administrator account.

Installing It Without Breaking Anything

• Pick your build from the download list on this page.
• Close games, video editors and anything streaming. The screen will flicker and go black once or twice during the swap, which is normal.
• Run the installer as administrator and tick the clean install option if it offers one - that clears old settings that tend to survive upgrades and cause odd behavior.
• Restart when it finishes, even if the installer says you do not have to.
• Confirm the new version in Device Manager under Display adapters, or in GPU-Z.

If an install fails partway and leaves the system in a strange state, Driver Store Explorer removes the leftover driver packages Windows keeps in reserve, so the next attempt starts clean. On the games side, a stale DirectX runtime is worth ruling out before you blame the driver.

Pair It With Intel Graphics Software

The driver makes the hardware work, while Intel Graphics Software is the control panel on top - per-game profiles, display settings, performance monitoring and driver checks. It needs driver 32.0.101.6325 or newer, which this build clears easily.

Symptoms a Driver Update Usually Clears

• Screen flicker or brief black frames on the desktop.
• Games crashing to desktop, especially on first launch after a patch.
• Torn or blocky video during hardware-accelerated playback.
• A second monitor that refuses to wake, or resolutions that reset after sleep.

If your problem is video playback rather than gaming, a driver update is only half the story - Windows still needs the right decoder. The Codec Finder tells you which one is missing.

LAV Filters or the K-Lite Codec Pack will then supply it.

One honest caveat: if HDR or 10-bit video looks wrong in just one media player, the driver may not be the culprit. That is usually a renderer problem, and switching to madVR inside MPC-HC tends to sort it.

Who Should Look Elsewhere

Not everyone reading this needs the generic Intel package.

If your laptop maker publishes its own Intel driver, that build has been tuned for your screen and power settings. Intel warns that installing its generic driver overwrites those maker customizations, so on a laptop with unusual display hardware, the maker's build is the safer first stop.

If your graphics chip is not Intel at all, you want NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Drivers or the AMD Radeon Adrenalin drivers instead.

On an AMD system, the Ryzen chipset drivers are worth updating in the same sitting.

And if playback in Windows apps is the real complaint, the fix is usually a codec rather than a driver. These cover the formats Windows leaves out of the box:
