Allows you to associate M4P (iTunes MusicStore encrypted files) and M4B (protected Apple/Audible audiobooks) files with Winamp 2 or Winamp 5.
You must have your computer authorized to use iTunes, as well as have iTunes installed.
Due to limitations in the Windows version of Quicktime, the Winamp visualizations, output plugins and equalizer do not work with this plugin and there's nothing I could do about that.
This plugin does NOT circumvent the "FairPlay" protection in any way, so it's absolutely legal to use it.
Changes in M4P Input Plugin (for Winamp2/5) 1.0 beta:
- supports audiobooks (*.m4b)
- memory leak fixed
If you want to play M4A (non-protected MP4 Audio) files download also M4A input plugin (for Winamp2/5) 1.0 beta - made by the same author - or MP4 Input Plugin (for Winamp2/5) which decodes .MP4 and .M4A files as well as AAC, PS AAC and the newer HE ACC profile included in Nero 6.0.

Faultless! Frustrated by the whole DRM business, I installed this plug in and, in no time whatsoever, my Winamp 5.3 could play purchased, downloaded, DRM protected music in M4P format from the iTunes store, which is exactly what I wanted the plug in to do. Many thanks!
