CyberLink Blu-ray Disc & 3D Advisor lets you know if your computer can play Blu-ray discs, including 3D content.
Aside from the diagnosis, you will receive suggestions on how to upgrade your system.

Get ready to experience high-definition with spectacular realism and depth right from your PC with CyberLink PowerDVD.

Unlike DVDs, Blu-ray discs can store very large amounts of data at a better quality, but this advantage comes with higher system requirements.

This application analyzes your system and it helps you find out if you can play Blu-ray discs and Blu-ray 3D content.

CyberLink Blu-ray Disc & 3D Advisor allows you to perform various tests using a simple and user-friendly interface. Within seconds, this self-diagnostic tool gathers results and displays them for you.

CyberLink scans both your hardware and software and it also display a list of requirements. Each component of the list gets a “Pass” or a “No” mark after CyberLink Blu-ray Disc & 3D Advisor scans your computer.

In order to be able to play Blu-ray contents, your system must pass the test entirely; each requirement must get a “Pass” diagnostic.

If you get a negative mark, the application offers you the possibility of finding out how you can turn it into a positive one. Next to each “No” mark, you will find a button which opens a page in your Internet browser and displays information about the component you need to upgrade. Some of the reasons behind a negative mark can be the CPU, the graphics card, the media player or your system memory.

With CyberLink Blu-ray Disc & 3D Advisor you achieve a lot more than by doing a simple test and trying to play a Blu-ray disc; this tool will inform you (although its developers don’t guarantee accuracy) of the elements you need to update.

Changes in CyberLink Blu-ray Disc & 3D Advisor 2.0:

- Adds support for Windows 8.
- Updates 3D display devices database
- Adds HDMI 1.4 3D TV and graphics card support.
