It is a collection of BeSweet
front-ends which enable you to covert AC3, MPA, MP2, MP3, VOB, AVI and WAV to the AAC and OGG formats and to encode and reencode AC3 files.
The AC3Machine makes it easy to encode and reencode AC3 format files. At the same time, this tool allows you to create AC3-WAVs that can be burned as Dolby Digital CDs.
With the AacMachine you can convert AC3, MPA, MP2, MP3, VOB and WAV directly to AAC. Additionally, this component of the Machine Pack also supports transcoding of 5.1AC3 to 5.1AAC.
The OagMachine enables you to perform direct conversion of AC3, MPA, MP2, MP3, VOB, AVI and WAV to Ogg Vorbis or AAC. Stereo and multichannel transcoding are both included.
The last tool in the pack, the OggMachine, helps you convert the same file formats, AC3, MPA, MP2, MP3, VOB, AVI and WAV, directly to Ogg Vorbis.
This pack has not been updated anymore since 2004 and it may be outdated for most users.
There are more modern and user-friendly tools available, but this selection of BeSweet front-ends can still be useful to anyone already familiar with the BeSweet applications and who prefers a more compact application which needs little memory space and computer resources.
Moreover, AC3, AAC, OAG and OGG Machine pack works with the most popular audio file formats, which are still in use, and it is well-organized, around the four types of output file it produces (AC3, AAC, OAG and OGG).
The Machine Pack contains several components: the AC3Machine, the AacMachine, the OagMachine and the OggMachine.
