Updated: 22 Aug 2004 | Freeware | 16KB | Downloads: 10973

MMCompView is obsolete. It is recommended to use its successor: InstalledCodec.

MMCompView displays the details of all installed multimedia components (codecs, ActiveX filters) and allows you disable/enable specific components.
This utility is a standalone executable. It doesn't require any installation process or additional DLLs. Just run the executable (mmview.exe) and all installed multimedia components will be displayed.

Changes from MMCompView 1.00 to MMCompView 1.10 :

- Automatically save your settings (window size, columns and more) and load them in the next time that you run this utility.
- Added the "Code" column. (only for codec items)
- The enable/disable process works smoother then in the previous version. (without refresh).
