Excellent program. Built in codecs, not found any problem while converting to different formats

Great free program and it does convert .mov files from digital cameras. All you have to do is open them with Avidemux, just copy back to avi and it will play anywhere. I haven't even got Quicktime on my computer.

This editor is SEX! Forget VirtualDub now, it had its day. lol

And if you're looking for an actually FREE avi joiner, you found one with AviDemux! Very easy to do and actually easier than trying that with VirtualDub (because no extra codec crap needed).

I'm encoding using AVIDemux at this moment. It's great. All required codecs are within its own program folder, no need to have installed any codecs or codec packs. Can convert/encode to multiple formats except Real, Quicktime or Win Media A/V formats. Join, filter, append, cut, its all there. Try it. :)

Hands down best avi joiner I have used. I used Allok AVI joiner and it would take me around 1.5hrs to join the files. With this jewel it took me less than 5 minutes.

Serious program. I love open source programs always keep the "The best things in life are free" real.

With Virtual Dub, i was often sync issues. With Avidemux, no more problem !

This program is always up to date, has a ton of features and is very user-friendly. If you're looking for a program to replace the aging VirtualDub; look no further, AviDemux is the thing for you!

this programs is great for (among many other things) joining avi files with mp3 VBR audio. It does it fast and the resulting files doesn't have any lag/delay/sync issues.
