Helium Audio Converter
helps you convert your audio files to a variety of formats: AAC, M4A, M4B, FLAC
, MP3, MP4, MPC, OGG, WMA, Wave, and WAVPack.
This application offers support for batch processing and it allows you to import audio files using the file browser, the treeview or the drag and drop method.
Helium Audio Converter displays for each imported audio track the following data: title, artist, source path, album, length, size, bit rate and source format.
Meta data is converted too. Select a file and find out extensive information about it (file and tag information and attached pictures).
Helium Audio Converter offers an interesting extra option for FLAC and MP3 files – analyzing and checking output files. Due to Helium Audio Converter’s editing options, you can modify some parameters of your audio files: quality, bit rate, channels, sample frequency rate, normalization etc. Other options you may find helpful are overwriting or skipping files with identical names and deleting source files after conversion.
Helium Audio Converter has a few limitations, too, as it does not support copy protected music conversion. On the other hand, some problems of the previous versions have been fixed. For instance, in version 1.1, the audio data was destroyed during conversion to AAC, an issue which has been eliminated.
The sound quality is very good, no matter what kind of output format you choose, lossy or lossless.
By installing Helium Audio Converter to your computer, you will benefit from extensive conversion support and you will be able to convert between various audio file format using an intuitive and friendly interface.
The first positive aspect you will notice about Helium Audio Converter is its intuitive and elegant interface.
