No longer developed

Codec Pack All in 1 is no longer updated by its developer - the last version here is from 2006. It may still run, but it gets no fixes for newer Windows versions or formats.

Maintained alternatives that may do the same job:

Codec Pack All in 1 was a popular one-click codec bundle from the DivX and Xvid years.

Version 6.0.3.0 from January 2006 was the last release.

Modern Windows no longer needs it, and a current codec pack does the same job far more safely.

What Was Inside

The final release bundled the codecs of its day: DivX 6.1.1, Xvid 1.1, a 2005 build of FFDShow, an MPEG-2 decoder, Ogg Vorbis and AC3 audio, a stream switcher and an early DirectVobSub subtitle filter.

Every one of those is many versions out of date. None of it knows MKV, HEVC or AV1, and none of it gets security fixes.

Do not mix it with a modern pack. Its 2005 decoders can take over from current ones and break playback in ways that are hard to track down.

What to Install Instead

Or skip codec packs entirely: VLC Media Player opens old DivX and Xvid AVI files on its own.

The Codec Pack All in 1 6.0.3.0 download stays here for reference and genuinely old systems only.

Quick questions

Is Codec Pack All in 1 still developed?

No. Version 6.0.3.0 from 2006 is the last release.

Should I install it on Windows 10 or 11?

No. Its old decoders can conflict with modern ones. Install K-Lite or X Codec Pack, or use VLC.

Will my old DivX and Xvid files still play?

Yes. VLC and any player using LAV Filters play them without an old codec pack.

Don't use this one, it's very outdated. Instead use a proper updated codec pack like Klite standard.
