DGMPGDec can be used to decode MPEG2 streams from DVD movies, Blu-rays and other types of video files (captured transport streams; DVB, HDTV and digital streams; M2V, MPG, M2TS, TS etc).

DGMPGDec is based on DVD2AVI and MPEG2Dec and it was also known as DVD2AVIdg MPEG2DECdg Decoding Fix.

It is a complex tool, but you won’t have to use it manually and it is often included in other programs. Its aim is solving encoding and decoding problems.

This tool is equipped with various video functions: an iDCT Algorithm, Filed Operation, HD Display adjustments and YUV to RGB scaling for PC and TV.

DGMPGDec has two filters. One helps you crop videos to the desired size, and the other one allows you to adjust the gamma and the offset values for luminance.
