Tried the other codec pack, called Ace Mega codec pack but quickly became a big fan of klite.
Works best with WinAvi converter 7 to decode and encode any video format.

It's exelent, but I have had some problems with the code AC3 version 1.02a!!!
One of my videos with this decode cannot funtion properbly and the only way it's worked is with the olderst AC3 version 0.70b?????

It works perfectly on my system but i wonder why some of .OGM/.MKV movies are not recognized or having problem on playing. I try to download them again but it seems like the mega codec pack version of MKV/OGM has the problem.developers, can you just try to check it out.

Probably the best codec pack, certainly the most complete and convenient. Very network-friendly too, which is a must if you have to update as lot of machines (which I do.) It's got a few bugs, to be sure, but it beats the crap out of no codecs, getting codecs from a million unreliable sources, or compiling them from scratch. My only gripe is that I wish they'd include a modern media player interface like WMP 8/9 or Winamp, not that crappy WMP 6.4 interface. BSPlayer is so unreliable too. But as long as I have the codecs I need and don't have to deal with DRM being loaded without my knowledge or permission - which WMP 8/9/10 do - I can deal with a crappy interface.

K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.53 don't work with internet radio! I use dsp plugin SAM Encoders by Spacial Audio 3.8.3
K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.52 work CORRECT with this plugin and internet radio.

As far as to what it does it's ok. But there have been some "bugs" with the last couple of releases of the mega pack. One is that with any of real streams they all "time out" after about 45 to 50 seconds of playing. Have no clue as to why it's doing that but some help on finding the settings in the registry to manipulate would be helpful. BTW, I get a blazing fast 3mb download on my dsl with a very small ping time so don't say it's my connection. Another thing that has irked me is that since this is a "mega pack" why hasn't "winamp alternative" been added to the package? Third is the way even with quicktime installed some transports are not being handled correctly if the the last extention is *.sdp . In conclusion please point me to a forum where such things are discussed and not some happy notes about how good the player is.

This version is great with most of the updates
BUT... the MPC has problems with recognizing
files such as *.PLS, *.ASX and so on! I recommend folks to go back to MPC 6.4.8.8 or earlier until the programmers can correct the Media Classic Player 6.4.8.9! Just download the earlier verson(s) from the Internet.

when i'm using Zoom Player , the player told me thaht some formats are missing and cannot be played properly due to missing components. the format was ACX3 form, CDXA Reader SVCD disc image , CD Audio , OGM, OptimFROG Audio, MP3. it's better if the creators of KLM visit it;s homepage to know more about the issue!!!

A problem I've found with this codec pack is that it causes TMPGEnc to crash when using Vobsub (VSfilter). I've had to go back to 1.38 Someone needs to look at this.
