dBpowerAMP Music Converter 14.3 is solid and works great. The developer is saying this will be the last release of version 14. Beta testing for version 15 will come around christmas.

dBpowerAMP Music Converter R14.2

I ran the converter very easily, but it seems rather peculiar that a 25.767 kb flac file was converted into a 3.706 kb mp4a (AAC) file.
Did I lose some quality?

Both formats are supposed to be lossless, but the difference in size indicates that they do not have the same amount of information.

"Swiss Army Knife"

I have to say that I totally agree with the above poster very useful and easy to get to grips with:)

The trial version is even long enough to rips all your music cds...
