have always had success with the dvdfab ever since i found it,and i always come back to see if there is an updated version,i just need to know the uses for this new dvdfab 4.0.05 beta versions new tools what they are for and how to use them,if i really need to use them or not,KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK,also i need to thank the people here at free codecs for the great service they provide since i found this site i have learned and been able to do so much more on the pc than ever,just one request,it would be easier for me to use more of the product here if they came with more detail instructions and pics and their uses,instead of trying to fumble my way through the program and screwing something up,just a reasonable request since im pc novice,

I Love this software. I have used FAB for about 2 years and it has always worked great for me. I tried to burn the movie "Happily Never After" and it decrypter fine, but when I went to burn it, I kept getting and error saying that the files could not be reallocated. Does anyone have a clue as to why this is? Keep Up the great work, it is much appreciated.

I cant get it to work. After spending money on DVD Shrink I was told to try Easy DVD Clone (which rarely copied without and VOP error) now I was referred to this DVD Fab, cant get that to work, when I contacted support asking them how long it will take to get my money's worth and be able to copy more than a couple of movies, there response was "about 30 minutes" I feel like i have been ripped off!!!!

alright I have been using dvdfab for awhile and HD's are the future. with the new beta coming out, i am curious if I can use the basic dvd+r disc, I have been using all along or do i hvae to bump up to the DL disc. It would be nice to have a tutorial ALREADY in place BEFORE making it available for download. Kind of hard to figure out w/o any clues as to what to do/how to get started. I figured out how to rip/copy (that's the easy part), but I can't figure out how to save it, where to save it to, and what to do next in order to get the DVD movie to my ipod (hard part). I need help with this thing!!!

This product works! The only promblem with this sofware is that it doesn't shrink the movie to fit it into one layered dvd. Luckily there is another program that does that which could also be downloaded free, dvdshrink! With these two softwares working together there all dvds are copiable.

Another botched released. Back to 2983. I tried ripping Barton Fink - a fairly old DVD. Once it finished, I opened it in PGC Edit and previewed Title 12 - still pictures. It said "Error while loading VOB file... Could it be encrypted?" All versions after 2983 have this problem. They all routinely screw up still pictures, still menus, even the movie itself (ex: Drugstore Cowboy). I can't rely on DVDFab any more. They're much too unreliable now. They're deleting still pictures and failing to decrypt the movie correctly. The problem persists, even if I disable AnyDVD. The only working version of DVDFab is 2983.

I totally agree with 'North America'. As stated in my review 9/25/06, I have been experiencing the same problems with all DVDFab decrypter versions after. v2.9.8.3.
I even wrote them (DVDFab Decrypter)directly, and they blamed it on my CloneDVD program, which incidentally worked fine with every version of DVDFab decrypter through 2.9.8.3, so I know it is not my copying program that has problems.
I hope people who are paying for the more "complete" vesion aren't experiencing these same problems.

Every version after 2983 gives errors frequently when files are checked with PGC Edit. Also, if a DVD has any still pictures, they are often messed up. Menus with still pictures are often messed up too. In short, every version after 2983 has been broken, in one way or another. I don't know what is wrong with the development team, but they are not doing something right. I've tried everything and nothing will fix these problems.

I have loved your free version of DVDFab Decrypter, but since approx. the beginning of Sept. 2006, I have not been able to use DVDFab Decrypter v3.0.01. beta 5,7,8,10, 3.0.1.0 Final, or the most current v3.0.1.2 with my CloneDvd.
Every version before those worked fine (I believe the last was 7/2006). I am now getting errors on every movie, such as the one below. Any suggestions?

not any options but a fine job. useful warnings about DMA, if not enabled. For some reason at my XP64 it was disabled, the program did for me, restarted, and all fine with little cpu usage after that.

I downloaded the newest version since they had hopefully fixed the IFO file corruption, but my first rip with the new version has also failed when trying to be used with DVD Rebuilder. I wish I could find a prior to 2.9.3.2 version that worked very well. Right now, I would have to still recommend staying away unless you are using a transcoder like DVD Shrink or Nero Recode to process your DVD's.
