MetatOGGer is a tag editor which allows you to organize, rename and tag audio files in the most popular formats: Ogg Vorbis, Speex, FLAC, MP3, WMA, WMV, Musepack, WavPack and Monkey’s Audio.
It has a vector-based interface using the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
Additionally, MetatOGGer needs the .NET Framework 4.5.2 in order to run on your computer and if you don’t have it, this installer could deploy it to your system.
MetatOGGer will be useful for you if you want to perform at least one of the following actions:
- edit tags manually or using IronPhyton scripts; renaming files after tag information; obtaining tags using the file name or its path; obtaining tag information from local databases; organizing files by their tags; identifying files by their acoustic fingerprint; identifying possibly duplicate files; eliminating unwanted tags and downloading covers and lyrics from the Internet.
MetatOGGer is easy to use by those with some experience in similar software, but beginners won’t find this application too complicated either.
The first step, importing audio files, is very simple; you just have to use one of the following methods: file browser, folder view or the drag and drop method.
You can add as many files as you want and for each of them you will have access to the following information: title, artist, date, album, track number, genre etc. Audio properties are on display, too: codec, bit rate, duration, channel, sample rate, covers, tags which can be edited using IronPhyton scripts and so on.
MetatOGGer is a must for any music lover who wants to organize their collection of audio files carefully and to enjoy easy access to tags and extensive editing options.
