The main features of Elecard StreamEye are: displaying type, size and time stamp for each picture; visual quality control of every picture; visual streams comparison by picture quality and picture size; video stream indexing for immediate frame-accurate positioning and displaying varied information about macroblocks in MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.263 and AVC/H.264.
Additionally, Elecard StreamEye allows you to determine average, peak and instant bit rate values of the video stream and to view YUV data sequences in YUV video files (by using the included Elecard YUV Viewer).
With the tools provided by Elecard StreamEye, you can compare files and determine if binary images match. The Elecard YUV Viewer also enables you to find out quality metrics such as PSNR, NQI and VQM. The application has been designed for reverse engineering and analysis.
Some of the Elecard StreamEye features are exclusive, such as the frame-accurate positioning, the AVC/H.264 support, displaying the stream and gathering statistics about the whole file, selecting navigation modes, the H.263 and the MPEG-4 support, and the displaying of internal data partitioning for motion vectors and coefficients in the frame.
Elecard StreamEye has a simple intuitive interface containing a menu bar, a status bar, an options box, a toolbar, the MB Info window (it displays information about macroblocks), a picture info box, a stream info window, a headers info window and various buttons (slice boundaries, partitions, motion vectors, quantizers, MB Types and so on).
Elecard StreamEye is designed for power users, and once you get used to its features, you will be able to perform video compression in a professional manner.
- Users of Elecard StreamEye Tools 2.0 are entitled to free upgrade up to and including version 3.0.
It enables you to analyze video quality, to ensure compliance to video standards and to troubleshoot problems in encoded streams using visual representations and stream structure analysis.
