A software for simple conversion of MPEG2-video (especially of DVDs) in High-Quality-DivX5.
Requests for MPGConvert² :

- DivX5.
- Codec and on the computer available MPEG2-files (*.vob und *.ifo).
These files can't be created with MPGConvert².

MPGConvert² supports DivX5.* single- or multipass-conversion, the extraction of all in the VOBs included audiotracks (except DTS) optional to *.ac3 or *.mp3, the mixing with the DivX video-material, the cutting in user-wanted sizes and contains a bitrate calculator. Due to a job-processing it's possible to make as many conversions as wanted, automatically.

It's rubbish. It failed to split the avi into two 650 mB files. The picture was badly distorted during playback in WMP Classic When I specified mp3 in the Audio tab it extracted seperate audio files. It crashed instead of exiting properly.
