Very comprehensive codec pack. What would make it perfect is an optional add/remove of selective codecs when dealing with differing movie formats and conflicting codecs.

Please, someone can help me to resolve the crash of Windows Media Player every time I try to play mp3 or wma files, since I installed the K-lite codec pack? (No problem with any other audio/video player, like Winamp, BSPlayer, Media Player Classic... Only with WMP, but I like it for playing music...).
My operating system is XP SP2.

Stay away from this codecs if you got a low end specs or try to run this on old pentium 3. If you got 2ghz and above comp, then that won't be a problem. I tried and test it out and all 3 test machine show sound lag and freeze. Get the new ffdshow instead. The ffdshow feature a new postprocessing filter.The quality is about even or better at lower processing power. Want more? turn on a lot of it's option.

why cant i burn my dvds using nero avi and mpegs just will not burn but divx will. this has only happened since putting on codec pack2.35 thank you

These work great! I've had a program that I've been struggling with for weeks to get to work (text over video) and it would not work with mpeg2 files until I loaded this jewel.

After installing 2.34 in Win2k, I'm satisfied with it. But I found that I can't play wmv file with Meida Player Classic, instead of it, the old version WMP 6.4 works.

quite amazing if you ask me. the only way to improve on perfection would be to have Nero's H.264 playback NeVideo.ax (for H.264) and NDParser.ax (2.0.2.20 being the most bug free at the moment) added. and if WinDVD6 can do it's amazing deinterlacing thru directshow filters, that would be even more sweet. thaks for an all-in-one solution, tho!

Discovered this codec pack back when it was in version 2.0, and have been using it ever since, others arent as comprehensive, or install many unwanted programs or has problems with wmp.

I use this codecpack for a long time now, with great satisfaction.
My only complaint is that the creators miss the Cyberlink codec out since 2.31!
I need it and so when I upgrade to a newer one, I need to install 2.27 too to be able to watch DVDs.
/no I don't use Media player classic/
